Calle Järnkrok scored the only Swedish point of the game as Toronto defeated New Jersey 4–0. Järnkrok made it 3–0 past New Jersey goalie Jacob Markström just under seven minutes into the third period.
Järnkrok's Toronto teammate William Nylander, already selected for the Olympics, is still injured.

Rickard Rakell had an assist, passing to Sidney Crosby for the 1–0 goal, while Erik Karlsson had assists on the 3–0 and 4–0 goals.
Simon Holmström had an assist as the New York Islanders visited Chicago. The Islanders eventually won the tight match 3–2 in a shootout.
In the final game of the night, both teams had Swedish scorers as Philadelphia defeated Vancouver 6–3. Carl Grundström gave Philadelphia the lead when he made it 2–1 at the start of the second period.
Tom Willander scored Vancouver's third goal to make it 3–5, and teammate Marcus Pettersson had an assist in the game.
Twelve nations will compete in the men's Olympic ice hockey tournament between February 11 and 22.
