"A lot of resources would have to be deployed to bring it down to zero. Honestly, I have to say it will not reach zero," the anonymous lieutenant colonel tells Israeli Keshet 12, referring to Iran's ability to continue attacking.
Iran is believed to have had about 2,000 such missiles before the war, two senior Israeli officials previously told Bloomberg.
Over 500 of these have been fired at Israel during the war and others have been destroyed on the ground, according to the Israeli military.
In addition, the Iran-backed Hezbollah militia in Lebanon is believed to have 8,000–10,000 rockets capable of reaching Israel, Israel's military radio reports.
