Thursday's attacks hit the Nabatiyeh region in southern Lebanon, about a mile from the Israeli border. Israel is said to have conducted extensive shelling in two rounds.
According to the state-run Lebanese news agency NNA, the massive explosions caused "terror and panic" among the population.
The attacks from Israel are the latest in a long series against Hezbollah in Lebanon, although a formal ceasefire has been in place between the parties since November 27.
According to the agreed ceasefire, Hezbollah undertook to withdraw its soldiers from the river, approximately three miles from the Israeli border. Furthermore, they would dismantle all military infrastructure in the southern parts.
In exchange, Israel would withdraw militarily from Lebanon, but has despite this retained five forces in five areas that they consider "strategic".
