Israel is stopping several humanitarian organizations from operating in Gaza starting at the turn of the year.
Among the organizations banned from operating are Doctors Without Borders.
The responsible ministry says that the organizations are not complying with new rules for working in Gaza and points out that requirements to share information about funding and personnel have not been met, AP reports.
In the Doctors Without Borders case, Israel accuses the organization of failing to clarify the roles of certain employees whom Israel has accused of collaborating with Hamas and other militant groups.
Doctors Without Borders has not commented, but other international organizations say Israel's rules are arbitrary and could put staff at risk.
