Iran war is costly for LKAB

So far in March, the company has had to cancel deliveries of iron ore worth 700 million kronor, reports Sveriges Radio.

"We are being affected quite a bit. We have customers in the region and customers in the Strait of Hormuz that we have had for 40 years," communications director Niklas Johansson tells Sveriges Radio.

Therefore, LKAB is taking the opportunity to extend a maintenance stop at one of the plants in Kiruna to slow down production.
