Of them, at least 29 had connections to the anti-regime protests in January, according to the Norway-based human rights organization.
At least 16 of those executed were women, and there were also at least 13 people linked to banned opposition groups, IHR said.
All executions, regardless of the crime classification, have a clear domestic political purpose: to create fear and prevent new protests, IHR head Mahmood Amiry-Moghaddam told the AFP news agency.
Hundreds more people who took part in the protests have either been sentenced to death or tried on charges that could carry the death penalty, according to IHR.
According to Amnesty International's figures, a total of 2,159 people were executed in Iran in 2025.
