The Israel-Premier Tech cycling team – as it was previously called – has a new partner. Football legend Andrés Iniesta's company Never Say Never is buying the team and changing its name.

Now the team will instead be called "NSN Cycling Team".

Iniesta's Barcelona-based company Never Say Never, in collaboration with Stoneweg, has bought the team. Iniesta is one of the company's twelve founders and is already the majority owner of the Danish football club FC Helsingør.

The team's participation in Spain attracted a lot of attention and caused several disruptions of pro-Palestinian demonstrations.

The team was then banned from the Giro dell'Emilia for security reasons. Main sponsor Premier Tech also chose to end the partnership, despite the fact that "Israel" had been removed from the name and the team had moved away from its "Israeli identity".

Iniesta's playing career spanned 22 years, leading Barcelona to four Champions League victories and nine league titles. After his time in La Liga, he continued his career in Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
