A person discovered a screaming infant who had been left alone in a car outside a store in Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, on Monday morning.
The person alerted the police and a police operator tried to reach the owner of the car but to no avail.
”The owner cannot be reached and after 10 minutes the caller smashes the window of the car”, the police write on their website.
The child is said to be doing well and the child's guardian has been reported for causing bodily harm.
