Ikano Bank Cuts Back – 200 to Go

Ikano bank is laying off 200 employees, 120 of whom are in Sweden, according to a press release. According to the bank's latest annual report, it had 556 employees in Sweden.

"We will support all affected parties in the best possible way during this change – always guided by our culture and values. Our ambition is to have implemented the proposed changes before the mid-2025 deadline," says the bank's acting CEO Niclas Olsson in a press release.

Ikano bank is part of the Ingka group, which in turn is the parent company of Ikea.
