The skiing queen Therese Johaug is back in the World Cup after two competition-free seasons. This year's most notable comeback is the big talking point ahead of the World Cup season starting with 10 km classical in Ruka, Finland.
What does Frida Karlsson think about it? Like turning back the clock to Johaug's glory days.
I think we'll see the old good Johaug. She'll probably do very well. It feels like she's had good results and we can probably count on full speed from the start, she says.
Maja Dahlqvist is not as convinced that the 36-year-old Norwegian will dominate like before.
I think she'll be up there fighting for the best placements. But I don't think she'll be as superior as before she quit, she says and continues:
But I think she'll definitely be up there fighting for it.
Linn Svahn states simply "I think she'll be good". She then elaborates:
We'll have to wait and see. But I think she'll be one of the biggest challengers for the win.
Johaug is competing in today's 10 km classical and Sunday's 20 km freestyle. She herself is lowering expectations.
Everything has to be 100 percent. Form of the day, skiing, technique, and everything has to go my way, she says.
