Åhléns is recalling a bathrobe for small children due to the risk of suffocation, according to the Consumer Agency in a press release.

The recall concerns the bathrobe "Tintin robe" by the brand Rikiki, in sizes 86/92 and 98/104, according to the department store. The article number is 50004556.

According to Åhléns, they have become aware that the press studs can come loose on the hood. These parts can pose a suffocation risk for children up to three years old if they get stuck in the throat.

Åhléns is asking customers who have purchased the product to return it to the nearest department store for a full refund.

The bathrobe was recalled from Åhléns stores on July 5. The product has been available in stores since April this year.
