Henrik Kristoffersen plans to end his alpine career after the 2030 Olympics. Meanwhile, the Norwegian star is fully focused on chasing Olympic medals as early as next month.

31-year-old slalom specialist Henrik Kristoffersen has announced that the 2030 Olympics will be his last appearance on the alpine stage.

Kristoffersen previously told his wife that he would retire after this Olympic season, but future competitions, such as the 2027 and 2029 World Championships, have made him change his mind.

If I compete there, I might as well participate in the 2030 Olympics too, Kristoffersen said.

He is currently in Schladming, Austria, for this week's giant slalom competitions ahead of the Olympic Games in Milan and Cortina. There, he is chasing his 24th career World Cup victory.
