Five people died when two helicopters collided in the air near Eura in southwestern Finland on Saturday, Finnish media report.
The helicopters were headed to Piikajärvi air center in Kumo, confirming. They were to participate in an event at the air center, where about fifty participants and a score of planes were expected.
The police are aware of who the helicopter pilots were, while the passengers' identities are still being investigated. According to Estonian Postimees, they were Estonian businessmen. Estonia's Foreign Ministry confirmed on Saturday evening that all on board had died.
According to the news agency STT, the website Flightradar24 shows that two helicopters that had flown in from Tallinn were near Eura airport at lunchtime on Saturday. The helicopters then disappeared from the radar.
