It is worst for grain producers and initially it could lead to higher prices for bread, pasta, muesli, oatmeal and flour, for example. Then prices could rise more broadly.
Grain is used as feed in livestock farming. So if these prices increase, it could ultimately also lead to more expensive animal products such as pork, eggs, milk and beef, Helena Hansson tells DN.
