Hanna Öberg won by 5.3 seconds over Italian Lisa Vittozzi, who also shot well. Elvira Öberg didn't miss a single shot either, but finished 20 seconds behind her older sister after a weaker performance on the course, taking third.

"I can probably call myself a sprint specialist now," Hanna Öberg says to SVT after her third sprint victory of the season.

"Today, during the competition, I felt really calm and relaxed, not thinking too much."

Strong shooting

Several members of the Swedish team shot well. Anna Magnusson, Linn Gestblom and Ella Halvarsson also shot well, while Anna-Karin Heijdenberg only missed one shot. Everyone except Halvarsson finished in the top ten.

"We went a little bit for the Nations Cup today too, so maybe we'll have to think about it more often. Basically everyone has shot fantastically well, so today it was right - the team, the mounds, the shooting coaches, everyone has done their part," Hanna Öberg says.

After a strong team effort, Sweden secured the women's Nations Cup ahead of France. Sweden has never before won the Nations Cup on either the men's or women's side.

"We have been so close many times, but we have never managed to become the best. Now we are, and that is something we should be incredibly proud of," national team coach Johannes Lukas says.

Wins overall

After the sprint, it is also clear that France's Lou Jeanmonnot won the overall World Cup after finishing sixth. All she needed was to finish ahead of Finland's Suvi Minkkinen.

Jeanmonnot also secured the sprint cup, where Hanna Öberg finished second.

Now only Saturday's pursuit start and Sunday's mass start remain before the biathlon World Cup season ends.
