Norway's Anikken Gjerde Alnæs won on the women's side after a dramatic sprint battle in which Hanna Lodin was overtaken at the finish.
Third was Norwegian Emelie Fleten in Bedrichov, Czech Republic.
Stina Nilsson looked like she could grab a podium place for a long time but fell away during the sprint and finished fourth.
On the men's side, Norway took the top three places. Amund Riege won ahead of Kasper Stadaas and Ole Jørgen Bruvoll.
Alvar Myhlback finished in 15th place.
Myhlback, 19, won Friday's sprint race in grand style and showed fine Olympic form, but was unable to follow up on that effort on Sunday.
