Viktor Gyökeres played 69 minutes and touched the ball ten times - yet he was still able to celebrate. The Swede's Arsenal are through to the League Cup final after a 4–2 aggregate win against Chelsea.

The international striker was one of the goalscorers in the first semi-final, which was played in January. The 3-2 result at Stamford Bridge also became the basis for the final aggregate score of the two-legged tie.

The return leg at the Emirates was poor.

But there was a goal: Kai Havertz, who came on in place of Gyökeres, made it 1-0 at the end of the match and secured Arsenal's place in the final at Wembley on March 15.

Which team will be waiting there will be decided on Wednesday. Manchester City leads 2-0 after the first match against Newcastle.
