Despite injuries and numerous illnesses, Sweden went undefeated in the Nations League after four matches in eleven days.

Captain Graham Potter and his team recorded three wins and a draw. With ten points, Blågult top their group in League B, two points ahead of second-placed Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The campaign began with a 2-1 victory over Romania in Solna last Friday and ended with a 1-0 win over the Romanians in Bucharest on Monday evening.

We are in a good position, Viktor Gyökeres tells Viaplay about the group standings.

"We've put ourselves in a good position. Now we have to try to finish the job in the next session," Graham Potter told the TV channel.

At Arsenal, the Swedish star striker has had very limited playing time at the start of the season, but he has been a key player for Blågult.

No wonder. With Gyökeres on the pitch, Sweden are guaranteed to score.

Against Romania, he scored for the seventh Nations League match in a row - including three matches from the previous edition of the competition.

The goal in the Romanian capital came in the 13th minute. Gyökeres only had to tap the ball into an open goal after Sebastian Nanasi hit the post.

It feels good. It feels like you get good chances and then you score. We could have done something more in the first half, says Gyökeres.

In the second half, Sweden lost control of the game. Goalkeeper Viktor Johansson had to make a couple of sharp saves, but also nearly gave away a rebound to an onrushing Romanian.

Group finale in Solna

In the end, it was all about seeing out the match, and Sweden did just that.

"We don't press well enough, then it doesn't matter who you face. Then it becomes difficult. It feels like we made it difficult for ourselves a lot of times, but we won," says Viktor Gyökeres.

The result meant more than three points. Sweden also ended a long run without a clean sheet. Before the 1-0 victory, Sweden had gone 18 consecutive matches - 13 of them under Potter - without keeping a clean sheet.
