What? Diamond League athletics meet.
Where? Shanghai, China.
When? May 16.
TV: SVT1 and SVT Play broadcast starting at 12:10 - when Armand Duplantis competes.
+ What is the Diamond League?
The Diamond League includes 14 competitions around the world – where the world's best athletes compete for a place in the final in Brussels on September 4-5.
Not all disciplines are included in every competition, but each discipline is included in approximately four to eight of the 14 sub-competitions.
In the semi-finals, the winner receives the equivalent of approximately 100,000 Swedish kronor. The winner in Brussels receives approximately 300,000 kronor. Each organizer also gets to choose eight disciplines where the prize money is higher.
+ That's why the season opener was postponed
The season opener was supposed to be in Qatar on May 8. But due to the war in the Middle East, that competition was postponed until June 19.
