The party's spokespersons Amanda Lind and Daniel Helldén presented the package in their summer speech in Stockholm on Wednesday.
They believe it will help Sweden take important steps towards electrification and ensure a fair climate transition throughout the country.
In the speech, Lind and Helldén alternated criticism of the government and the Tidö parties with praise for their own party, drawing applause from the audience, which mostly consisted of party sympathisers.
Wants to abandon Tidö politics
Sweden needs a new direction, with a government that acts for the climate, nature and equality in our country. We will build a stronger, fairer society, says Amanda Lind in the speech and continues:
It is time to abandon the Tidö government's policies, which have increased both emissions and inequalities.
The Green Party's election package, which is being presented just under a month before the parliamentary election on September 13, includes proposals for various tax cuts on renewable electricity.
The party also wants everyone to have the right to electric charging in the parking space at their home, regardless of their type of housing.

Repeated previous suggestions
The Green Party, which wants to be part of a new government after the election, also wants to improve the conditions for people in rental housing or condominiums to install solar panels. This will take the form of, among other things, a higher tax deduction for the installation of solar panels.
In addition to the "folk" package, the spokespersons made election promises about the introduction of a "Sverigekort", a public transport card worth less than 500 kronor a month that is valid throughout Sweden, increased child benefit and further steps towards a four-day workweek, a proposal that the party launched just over two years ago.

- Tax-free solar electricity for all households regardless of housing type
The Green Party wants to invest state funds in "energy communities", where people in rental housing or condominiums come together and jointly produce renewable electricity through solar panels, which according to the party is common around Europe. In Sweden, solar electricity has previously been tax-free up to 500 kW, as long as the electricity is self-produced, according to the industry organisation Swedish Solar Energy.
- Smart reductions in electricity tax
The Green Party wants, among other things, to abolish the tax on self-produced electricity, as well as renewable electricity within a so-called "energy community" (up to 2 MW). The party also wants to increase the tax reduction for the installation of solar panels to 20 percent. Today, the figure is 15 percent, according to the Swedish Tax Agency.
- All parking spaces should become charging points
The Green Party wants charging infrastructure to be mandatory for new construction or renovation of parking lots adjacent to apartment buildings. It should be the property owner's responsibility to ensure that the cost does not fall on the individual resident.
