We want the Constitutional Committee to examine whether one lives up to the commitments that Sweden has regarding international law in relation to Israel and Palestine, says spokesperson Amanda Lind to the magazine.

The Green party reports the entire government, including Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard (The Moderate Party), and believes that the government has been too passive.

Sweden has an obligation to prevent genocide and it is written in the Genocide Convention. But Sweden does not live up to those obligations – we have not seen any powerful action from the government's side, says Lind.

She also believes that it is "shameful" that the government does not act harder against the illegal settlements on the West Bank.

It is not enough to just say that you want a two-state solution, you must also act for it.
