"The returned persons were transported to Athens from Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, with Greek military aircraft of the type C-130 and C-27", it says according to the news agency AFP.
Sharm El-Sheikh can be reached by land from Israel.
A few hours later, Poland announced that a plane from Egypt had landed in Warsaw. On board, 160 evacuated people were said to have been present, primarily Poles but also other nationalities.
The group of 105 people that Greece brought to Europe is said to come from around 15 countries, primarily Greece, but also France, Germany, Sweden and the USA.
Since the Israel-Iran war broke out last week, all regular flights have been cancelled to and from Israel. Many foreigners are therefore leaving the country by land, via Jordan and Egypt. To some extent, Israel also allows special flights to, among other things, fly in Israelis who want to go home.
Poland is planning an evacuation trip on Thursday, then from Amman in Jordan.
