In a press release, Climate and Environment Minister Romina Pourmokhtari (The Liberals) talks about investments that will facilitate the electrification of the transport sector.
This is about an additional 1.5 billion kronor to Klimatklivet in 2026. Thus, a total of 4.5 billion kronor is available for use for, among other things, expanded charging infrastructure.
Pourmokhtari also announces that the government wants to make the temporary tax exemption permanent, which applies if you charge, for example, your car or moped at a charging point provided by the employer.
The government also wants to extend the support for light electric trucks. But the budget investment of 700 million kronor will come in 2027.
The government will present the entire budget for 2026 on September 22. In total, there is a reform space of 80 billion kronor.
