The teacher means that it was playfully meant and that they directly asked for an apology.
The school's investigation has come to the conclusion that it was a violation against the pupil. Now the teacher is not allowed to work with the child anymore according to an action plan that the school has drawn up together with the elementary school administration, reports P4 Göteborg.
The incident occurred in November last year.
The mother of the child has reported the incident to the School Inspection and says to P4 Göteborg that her child did not want to go to school after the incident. The School Inspection's child and pupil ombudsman has decided that the municipality shall give the pupil 10,000 kronor in damages.
In March, another teacher in Göteborg was fired after having taped over the mouths of several children in a preschool class at another school.
