The upturn in Stockholm was broad and all companies – except for the real estate company SBB – on the large-cap list OMXS30 were on the plus side. The best performer was the cloud service company Sinch, which rose 6.5 percent. The measurement technology company Hexagon was up 6.2 percent and the air heat pump company Nibe rose 5.2 percent.
The real estate company SBB fell below zero in the last minute, minus 0.1 percent.
The leading stock exchanges in Europe also rose on Monday.
The New York stock exchange is also rising. The iPhone manufacturer Apple is acting as a locomotive and is rising nearly 3 percent. The tech giant is also pulling along, among others, the semiconductor giant Nvidia, which is up around 0.4 percent.
The Swedish krona, which has been the strongest compared to the world's major currencies since the turn of the year, continues to strengthen against the dollar. One dollar costs 9.72 kronor on Monday. At the turn of the year, the dollar cost 11.07 kronor.
