In March of this year, the girl told social services that her father had groped her in the family home, according to a radio report. She reported the incident to the police and asked to be moved. But social services decided that she should stay.
Both the school and the BUP raised concerns, considering the decision inappropriate, and a report was also made to Ivo.
A few weeks later, the girl stated that she had been raped by the man and that she had recorded evidence to support her claim.
Otherwise, social services would not have moved me, she tells the radio.
The man, who denies the charges, is now being held on probable-cause suspicion of three counts of rape.
