440.6 meters is the new record in the Guinness Book of Records, Reuters reports.
To be accepted, the dessert had to look like a single, continuous piece, so the 100 Italian pastry chefs had to use around two tons of mascarpone to cover both the individual pieces and the joints.
"We are the kings of details and are very strict about the rules," judge Marco Frigatti told Reuters.
Completing the enormous dessert took about five hours.
The previous record, from Milan 2019, was 273.5 meters.
