Linn Gestblom continues to compete sparingly in her comeback. The Värmland native now heads into this week's World Cup competitions in Annecy-Le Grand Bornand, France.

Gestblom suffered a heart attack after Sunday's race in Hochfilzen, but it is not said to be the reason for her absence from future competitions. Instead, it is the previously injured shoulder that will receive continued rehabilitation.

"For Linn, it's about giving her body time and creating the best possible conditions for the rest of the season," says the biathlon national team's coach Johannes Lukas.

Three new names are joining the squad: Anna-Karin Heijdenberg, Henning Sjökvist and World Cup debutant Oscar Andersson.

The competitions in Annecy-Le Grand Bornand run from Thursday to Sunday and begin with the women's sprint.
