Among other things, three people – parents and their child – were killed when their car was attacked in Gaza City. Six people were also killed when a tent was hit in Khan Younis in the south, according to a spokesperson at Nasser Hospital.
Israel's military reports that the country's air force has attacked dozens of targets on the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, including infrastructure allegedly used by terrorist-stamped Hamas.
In parallel, there is still chaos surrounding the aid deliveries.
According to the UN's food program (WFP), 77 trucks, mostly carrying flour, have been stopped and looted by hungry Palestinians before reaching their destinations in recent time.
Despite some aid now entering the war-torn area – after Israel partially lifted its blockade – the risk of starvation is looming, according to WFP.
"We need to flood the communities with food over the coming days to calm the anxiety and rebuild confidence that more food is on the way," the organization writes in a statement.
Over 140,000 tons of food, enough to feed the inhabitants for two months, are ready to be brought into Gaza, according to WFP.
Since Israel unilaterally broke a ceasefire with Hamas on March 18, nearly 4,000 people are reported to have been killed in Gaza.
