We haven't decided. Now we're looking forward to Karin Smirnoff's last book and then we're waiting for releases abroad, says literary agent Magdalena Hedlund.

"Women Who Hate Men" is Karin Smirnoff's final contribution to "Millennium". There is currently no new author to take over, according to Magdalena Hedlund. But there is also no principled decision to end the series or put it on the shelf.

No, we're taking it one step at a time, says Magdalena Hedlund, who is handling the sale of "Millennium" on behalf of the Larsson family.

Will be a TV series

However, something that has been clear for some time is that Stieg Larsson's "Men Who Hate Women" will become a television series for Sky, something Variety has reported.

"Millennium" is the trilogy of detective novels written by Stieg Larsson, who died of a heart attack in 2004, the year before they were published. "Men Who Hate Women" came out in 2005, "The Girl Who Played with Fire" in 2006 and "The Castle That Blew Up" in 2007.

Lagercrantz continued

David Lagercrantz was commissioned to continue the series, which resulted in three more books. After that, Karin Smirnoff took over.

The rights to "Millennium" are owned by Stieg Larsson's brother Joachim Larsson and his father Erland Larsson, through the limited company Moggliden.
