Rolfö, one of the Swedish national team's stars, was forced to leave Sweden's Nations League match against Denmark at Strawberry Arena on Tuesday evening.

The Barcelona player injured herself in the 19th minute after a duel with Denmark's midfielder Josefine Hasbo.

Rolfö received medical help on the pitch for several minutes before being helped off the pitch with a bandaged foot.

Already on Tuesday, the national team provided partially reassuring news. The national team's doctor Houman Ebrahimi, described the situation as "hopeful" and that the European Championship does not seem to be in danger.

Now, the Swedish Football Association is providing further news.

The initial examination after yesterday's match confirms that Fridolina has not suffered a fracture. Fridolina is now heading home to her club team for further treatment, and this is being done in dialogue between Barcelona's and the national team's medical teams," says Houman Ebrahimi.

The match against Denmark ended 6-1 to Sweden, which thereby won its Nations League group and is clear for the semifinal.

This weekend, Rolfö's Barcelona will play its last match of the season, in the form of the Spanish cup final against Atlético Madrid.

The European Championship in Switzerland begins on July 2. Sweden will play its premiere on July 4 against Tuesday's opponent Denmark.
