He has a background as a doctor of physics at Lund University and has been involved in The Liberals since 2006. Since then, he has, in addition to the chairman position the years 2021 to 2025, been election general on a local level ahead of the election 2018 and candidate to the European Parliament 2019 and 2024.
He comes most recently from a consulting firm.
”It feels honorable to get to take on the trust as party secretary for Sweden's liberal party. It will be a challenging task. I look forward to, together with Simona and all our other fantastic liberal politicians and members around the country, seeing to it that The Liberals becomes a party that reaches out wider with its politics”, says Fredrik Brange in a press release.
Brange succeeds the party's newly elected party leader Simona Mohamsson in the position.
”With Fredrik, The Liberals get a party secretary with experience from one of the municipalities where The Liberals have the strongest support and where one has successfully won the voters' trust. Fredrik is the strategist we need in the election campaign”, says Simona Mohamsson.
