Ten years after the dark November evening of 2015 when Paris was rocked by terrorist attacks, the French national football team is planning to honor the memory of the victims.

When France hosts Ukraine on November 13 in the World Cup qualifiers, the players will wear the commemorative emblem "Bleuet de France" - a symbol of solidarity and reflection.

The match will not be played at the Stade de France, which was one of the intended attack targets, but at the Parc des Princes.

Before kick-off, a minute's silence will be held, and a banner with the message "football for peace" will be unfurled at midfield. At the same time, a fundraiser will be organized around the stadium to benefit those affected and their families.

Ten years ago, the American band Eagles of Death Metal played at the Bataclan in front of a packed audience, while France faced Germany in front of then-President François Hollande and Chancellor Angela Merkel at the Stade de France.

Then followed hours of bloody chaos – suicide bombers, shootings at cafes and the massacre inside the Bataclan. Over 130 people lost their lives and hundreds were injured.
