The deaths involved two migrants from Honduras, one from Cuba and one from Cambodia, according to the news agency. All were men between 42 and 68 years old.
Recently, in line with the president's goal of deporting more people from the country, the number of migrants in U.S. detention has increased. On Jan. 7 this year, 69,000 people were in custody, according to figures from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
In 2025, at least 30 people died in ICE custody.
