Former national team manager Jens T Andersson is leaving Nefttji Baku.

Aftonbladet was the first to break the news, which has been confirmed by the club on its website.

According to Nefttji Baku, it is a mutual agreement that Andersson is leaving.

Jens T Andersson left his position at the Swedish Football Association as national team manager a year ago to move to Azerbaijan.

"Nefttji Baku wants to build a strong club team with international ambitions, and offers attractive conditions to achieve this. Leading this work is a challenge I have decided to take on", Andersson said when he took the job last September.

Jens T Andersson has previously been sports manager at AIK, Hajduk Split, and Århus, and has coached Sirius. He has also been CEO and club director at AIK.
