During the Football Association's annual meeting on Saturday, Ylva Johansson was elected as a board member for a term of just over two years.
As EFD Chairwoman, she succeeds Anders Billström, who has held the position for the past two years. Billström will continue as a member of the board.
Social Democrat Ylva Johansson, 62, was EU Commissioner from 2019 to 2024. She was Minister of Labor from 2014 to 2019 and has held other ministerial positions in Swedish governments since the mid-1990s.
