Reinfeldt's term of office expires in March 2025, when he will have been chairman for two years.

Falck is the first candidate to openly announce that he intends to challenge Reinfeldt. He was chairman of the top-tier club AIK for five years and has also been secretary general of the Ice Hockey Association, among other things.

I believe I have the experience required, both in leadership, organization, and economics, but also from the football movement at both elite and grassroots levels, he says.

It is currently unclear whether Reinfeldt will stand for re-election or not. In a text message to Fotbollskanalen, SvFF's press officer Petra Thorén recently wrote that the electoral committee will announce on November 15 which of those with outgoing mandates will stand for re-election.
