The Ministry for Foreign Affairs still advises against all travel to the border areas with the Gaza Strip and Lebanon, within a distance of ten kilometers from the respective border, as well as to the Golan Heights. For the rest of Israel, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs now advises against non-essential travel, i.e. tourist and visit trips. Earlier in the summer, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs advised against all travel to Israel, which also included business trips and all other types of travel.

At the same time, the travel advisory is also eased for parts of Palestine, which previously also applied to all travel, according to the Ministry for Foreign Affairs.

"The Ministry for Foreign Affairs still advises against all travel to Gaza and on the West Bank provinces Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas and Qalqilia as well as to those parts of the province Nablus that are located north of Nablus city. For the remaining parts of Palestine, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs eases the advisory against all travel to non-essential travel", writes the Ministry for Foreign Affairs' press service in an email.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs also eases the travel advice for the provinces Dahuk, Arbil and Sulaymaniyah in the Kurdish region in Iraq and now advises against non-essential travel there. For the rest of the country, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against all travel.
