President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is hosting the visit.
"I look forward to visiting Ukraine once again. When Ukraine declared its independence 35 years ago, it was the beginning of a path away from oppression – for freedom, for democracy and for the right to peacefully choose one's future," Maria Malmer Stenergard says in a press release.
She adds that Sweden is "unwavering" in its support for Ukraine's sovereignty and right to self-determination.
