There is a fire in hazardous waste at a waste disposal facility in Umeå, but the fire is under control, reports P4 Västerbotten.
A critical message to the public (VMA) was issued due to heavy smoke development. At 18:00, the VMA was withdrawn.
This concerns the Dåva waste disposal facility.
When the rescue service arrives on the scene, they confirm a fully developed fire in a tent, with a risk of spreading, there is strong wind, said a management operator at Rescue Cooperation North earlier to TT.
The alarm about the fire came shortly after 15:00.
