On Kungsholmen in Stockholm, a woman was raped outdoors and the police were able to arrest a suspected perpetrator shortly afterwards.
"It is relatively unusual for rapes to occur outdoors, which makes it difficult to find a perpetrator. This time we were able to follow the suspect via surveillance cameras and arrest him," says Ola Österling.
A few hours earlier, the police were called to Gärdet on the other side of town when a rooftop party got out of hand and the partygoers, most of them under the age of 18, began throwing eggs and beer cans into the street.
In Botkyrka, south of Stockholm, it wasn't just people who were causing trouble - a stray "polar dog" chased, killed and began eating a deer. The police were called but had to wait for the dog's owner before they managed to get the animal under control. A report of a violation of the Act on the Supervision of Dogs and Cats was filed.
Man cut with glass bottle
In Police Region West, the police have made several interventions, according to press spokesperson Adam Isaksson Samara.
"The weather has been good so there has been a lot of mess to deal with," he says.
On Brännö in the Gothenburg archipelago, a man in his 30s was slashed in the throat with a glass bottle and a man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.
"It is said to have happened in connection with a Midsummer celebration and, as far as I understand, the men did not know each other," says Adam Isaksson Samara.
Even in northern Sweden, the workload is described as normal, according to Elin Andersson at the North Police Region.
"People are drinking a little more than usual, so there are more fights than normal. There have been some assaults and incidents of drunk driving to deal with," she says.
