It is discovered that fewer new cases involve young Swedes traveling to Denmark to carry out assignments for criminal gangs, reports P4 Halland in an interview with Danish police.

Arrests of individuals who recruit the young Swedes are believed to be an explanation for the development.

Last year, the police in Denmark had at least 38 cases involving young Swedes who, for payment, traveled to the neighboring country to commit serious crime. This year, a handful of new cases have been uncovered and if the trend continues, the number will be halved compared to last year.
