The lead-up has been intense for the 24-year-old from Stockholm. Interviews, photo opportunities and rehearsals for a dance and laser show. New long nails and lashes. In addition, she has recorded new music that will be released later this spring.

"It's nice that I have others who think for me so I can just keep up," says Felicia, dressed in a black lace mask for the day.

She also describes the protection as a kind of prison she would one day like to dare to get rid of. Will she throw it away if she wins in Vienna?

"As I feel right now, it's no. But if I wake up that day and feel ready, I will do it."

"Then I'm moving"

Felicia, formerly known as Fröken Snusk, began releasing music under her own name last fall. She has released several singles and an EP, and now sings in English. The crowning achievement is the clubby "My System," which is one of the most-streamed entries globally ahead of the final in Vienna.

More music is in the works and on June 6 she will begin an extensive Swedish tour at Gröna Lund in Stockholm. But first she would like to win Eurovision. If she survives her starting position as second in the semi-final on May 12, that is.

"Apparently it's the worst thing you can have - the 'doomsday number' - because the runner-up always gets out, she claims."

Are you worried?

"No, I don't have time not to move on. If that happens, you won't see me anymore. Then I'll move from Sweden."

"Personal revenge"

However, the artist has bigger plans than winning just for Sweden - she wants to win an eighth victory in the competition.

The overall goal is to rekindle interest in the electronic dance music she partied to as a youngster - and spread the gospel of the genre.

"Party music needs to come back. It feels like it's much stronger abroad than in Sweden, so I definitely want to go out into the world."

Her career as Fröken Snusk came to an abrupt end after a conflict over the project. Five years after her debut in the pink balaclava, people now call her real name when she poses for TT's photographer in central Stockholm.

"This whole journey has been like a personal revenge for me. It feels so incredibly good."

She received death threats after saying that Israel should not be allowed to participate: "I was asked a question, I answered and I stand by it. Of course it's unpleasant, but I try not to read the comments."

On singing in English: "I've never done it in public before, so it's really fun. But it's not a huge difference. Since I was little, I've only sung English songs at home, except for Disney songs in Swedish."

Career: "To make a song with Lady Gaga is my biggest dream. In the short term, I want to sell out the Globe."

The Swedish tour: "I'm looking forward to it so much. As 'Fröken' I've probably done 300 gigs, but I've had a break since then. So now I just want to get out there and play my music."

Born: 2001.

Lives: In Stockholm.

Background: Previously performed in a mask under the stage name Fröken Snusk. She had a breakthrough in 2022 with the epadunk song "Rid mig som en dalahäst," during which she wore a pink balaclava and kept her identity a secret. The project was created together with producer Rasmus Gozzi.

In 2024, she participated in Melodifestivalen with the song "Unga & fria". In 2025, she left the role of Fröken Snusk after a conflict over the project, and a new person later took over as the "new Fröken Snusk".

Felicia is now continuing her career as an artist under her own name. Since September 2025, she has released several singles and an EP in English. She won Melodifestivalen with "My System" and is representing Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
