A man in Pakistan has shot his 16-year-old daughter to death after a quarrel about her account on the app Tiktok.
According to Pakistani police, the man told the daughter to remove the account, which the daughter refused, whereupon the man opened fire. He is said to have fled the scene, but was later arrested by the police.
According to a police report that AFP has taken part of, the man killed the daughter due to "honor". The victim's family first tried to make it look like the girl had committed suicide, according to the police.
In June, a 17-year-old Pakistani Tiktok influencer, with hundreds of thousands of followers, was killed by a man who made advances that she did not respond to.
