In a Monitormätningarna survey administered by CAN, 18,000 people aged 17 to 84 answered questions about their alcohol habits. It turns out that customers who have shopped at farm shops in the past 30 days seem to consume more.
"Those who buy directly from manufacturers drink more than those who only buy at Systembolaget," says Björn Trolldal, a researcher at CAN, in a press release.
The proportion who bought directly from manufacturers was lowest among those aged 65–84 and highest among 20–29-year-olds.
