Something has exploded at an apartment building on Södermalm in Stockholm, the police write on their website. No one has been injured but a number of windows are smashed. There is no damage to the facade.
At present, it appears to be a larger firecracker, but we do not know that for certain, says Carina Skagerlind, the police's press spokesperson in Stockholm.
A preliminary investigation has been initiated regarding public endangerment.
