According to a survey conducted by SVT and Indikator Opinion, 48 percent believe that there will be increased immigration in the event of a change of government. 39 percent do not believe there will be any major difference, while eight percent believe that there will be reduced immigration.

The three parties that have backed Magdalena Andersson (S) as the prime ministerial candidate - C, MP and V - want to see increased immigration, though in different ways.

"The balance of power after election day will be of enormous importance," MP's migration policy spokesperson Annika Hirvonen told SVT.

Approximately 1,700 people participated in the survey, which was conducted June 1–21.
