Milan striker Evelyn Ijeh has been forced to leave the club. The Swedish international will instead join American side North Carolina Courage, Milan writes in a press release.
"While it was not my choice to leave at this time, not everything is within our own control. I am grateful for the opportunity to have represented the club, for the lessons learned, my development and all the people along the way," Ijeh writes in a post on Instagram.
