In the statistics, which are based on listening from April 1 to May 4, Sweden's contribution thus tops the list of the most played Eurovision contributions globally. Number two on the list is Italy's "Volevo essere un duro" with Lucio Corsi.
Spotify itself does not disclose the exact number of listens for different time periods, but TT has found out that "Bara bada bastu" has 13.2 million listens during the time span, while the Italian contribution has 6.3 million listens.
Powerful, it's almost unreal to take in, but we are so grateful that people have found our song and that it has spread like wildfire, says Axel Åhman, one of the group members.
Third on the global list is the Netherlands' contribution "C'est la vie" with Claude, who is one of KAJ's favorites and is seen as a likely competitor for the win.
Claude can be seen coming from behind. Half of the streams probably come from my Spotify account, says Jakob Norrgård.
Not entirely unexpectedly, KAJ and "Bara bada bastu" are also number one on the list of the most played Eurovision contributions in Sweden. On the Swedish list, they are followed by Tommy Cash's "Espresso macchiato", which competes for Estonia, and Norway's contribution "Lighter" with Kyle Alessandro.
