”Today is a good day for Europe and Ukraine. It is extremely positive that we have reached an agreement on the 19th sanctions package against Russia”, says Denmark's Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen in a statement, after the approval was finalized through a written procedure on Thursday morning.
The package includes, among other things, an earlier phase-out of Russian liquefied natural gas (LNG) to January 1, 2027, and that more vessels are penalized for being part of the Russian "shadow fleet”.
